Update on Mr. Atlas...

Today was Deven's followup appointment to our emergency room visit last Friday.  The DR gave him a sling to use, instead of the shoulder/posture support.  He said to try and keep him calm... lol... again, like I can hold back the ocean!  Other than that, give him motrin for pain, wear the sling for at least the next week, as much as possible and definately when he is playing, and come back in a couple of weeks to take another x-ray, to check the healing process and make sure it is doing what it should.  Then, one more x-ray appointment after that several weeks later to check again.  That's it.

Hi all.

I'm glad Deven's break wasn't really as bad as it could have been. He just has to be more careful and keep his sling on so it doesn't get displaced. Mr. Atlas he isn't! LOL.

Just was talking to Sheila as she's home from the hospital today. She can't say enough about the wonderful care she had at the hospital and all of the Dr.s and nurses besides the cleaning staff etc. She has QUIT smoking and nobody smokes around her; which is really good for her. She's still very tired and has to be very careful about getting any more infections. Colleen and another girl cleaned and disinfected the entire house before she got home. Her dog Maggie was crying when Sheila walked in the house. They have missed each other terribly. She felt really bad when I told her about Deven and his broken collar bone. She sends her best to all of you.

I already told you I received my gift in the mail yesterday. Hope you get your two boxes soon.

Love, hugs and kisses.
