Well, I got some Tussah silk for Christmas and I am learning to spin it. Silk is very slippery and has added the "Drop" to my drop spindle...grin. I tried spinning on the wheel, but just couldn't get it to grip. I am ending up with very fine singles, so I will most likely Navajo ply it down the road. Silk sure goes a long way!

MERRY CHEIRTMAS TO ME!!!

My Christmas present from Harry and Donna came yesterday! I am in spinning heaven now!!!! Yhippee!!

So, here is an example of the angel that I am making up for Christmas. Anyone interested in the pattern, just ask. They crochet up in about 30 minutes and are really cute when finished. My origional (that I dismantled to get the pattern from) was from a friend that I worked with in the Salon of JcPenny's years ago.

Well, not much blogging going on here! Anyway, I have been working really hard on quite a few projects: RPL, tatting, crotatting, knit, crochet, sewing...on and on, but I am happy to announce that I have finished my Highland Triangle Shawl. I am pleased with it and it is nice and warm. I love wool! Matter of fact, thanks to my youngest daughter, Kristyna, I am also now hooked on spinning my own wool.... Reggie says: Thanks, Kristy. Like mom needed another hobby! LOL. Ok.. Her is the photo.
