This is Autism

My son is 10 years old now, and growing in leaps and bounds, now that I know he is a child with Autism. He has always been smart and learned things quickly. He always had what I just thought of as quirks that smart children have. When he was 8 years old, he was identified as being on the spectrum. Well, that explained a lot of his quirks and why he was having trouble in several areas. My son is the sweetest boy, with such a caring heart. He always tries to look out for other people, he always has a smile on his face, and he will tells jokes at the drop of a hat. I love seeing the world through his eyes, as it never ceases to show me the world in a new way. So, here is to seeing the the joy in the world through my son's eyes:
